2009 in Photos

I know it’s a couple weeks early for this kind of post, but I’m going on hiatus from the blog until Jan. 1. In keeping with my tradition to review my year in running by way of pictures, here’s how 2009 went down.

January: PF Chang Rock n Roll Marathon: Saltless

February: Too sick to race You don’t seriously want a photo of me sick, do you?

March: My addiction to training resumes. Focus on a 1:40 half-marathon. I also set a bunch of belated resolutions that included the acquisition of red boots.

Oh yes, they will be mine.

October: Baystate Marathon: Hypothermia

The only photographic evidence that I ran it. Everything seemed in order the day prior.

December: 2010 goals: My first 50k

times 2

multiply times 2

To sum it up in one sentence, it was a year that showed a lot of potential and progress, yet ended with an ellipsis in my running, which I suppose is ideal. A girl with a runner’s tattoo wouldn’t exactly want to reach the end of her goal list. I am hopeful (as one would have to be when signing up to run 31 miles).

Blogland is fickle, but it would be great if  you’d return to read me in the new year.

All my best for the holidays and a great start to running in 2010 ….

Kristina
